After realising his first song, “Respect My Cryppin'”, one year ago, Blueface became viral. Then, in 2019, a remix of his song “Thotiana”, featuring Cardi B and YG. It became his most successful single to date, peaking at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. In November, he signed to the West Coast branch of Birdman’s Cash Money Records label. Blueface was later featured on the G-Eazy single. “West Coast”, released on February 28, 2019. On the same year, he was featured on the French Montana single, “Slide”, along with rapper Lil Tjay.
